Overview
PepsiCos Product Delivery & Success team, as part of the Digital Products and Applications (DPA) organization, drives end to end delivery across Strategy and Transformations core priorities by collaborating across functions to accelerate PepsiCos digital transformation. One the key remits of the Delivery Team is to provide delivery governance and execution oversight throuh Scrum Masters for the key digital transformation programs in PepsiCo.The Scrum Master role is a hands on delivery role who will work closely with Tecnical Program Managers and other key stakeholders to deliver high quality Digital Products.
Job Description
Coordinates and communicates across internal and external teams
Frequent communication with senior leadership to shape and deliver on the product roadmaps and business goals
Facilitates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospective.
Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimatesengineering development projects and facilitates sprint releases.
Drive team iteration execution communicates with management and stakeholders.
This role will lead and closely coordinate with Technical Program Managers
Responsibilities
Lead high performing Agile SAFe PODs/Team/s part of a Large program from conception, through design and development, to delivery of tested, useable prototypes.
Work closely & help Technical Program Manager to drive end-to-end technical program management across a multiple, cross-functional programs.
Work across cross-functional partners (engineering, business, product and design) to identify scope, constraints, dependencies, risks, and timelines across programs
Proactively identify technical, procedural, legal, logistical, and communications challenges and partner with leads to drive creative solutions to resolve issues and mitigate risks
Coordinate communications across internal and external teams, including upwards communication to team leadership
Frequent communication with senior leadership to shape and deliver on the product roadmap, and requires to nimbly switch between strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve technical, and business goals
Build dashboard to show case team velocity and impediments in Agile development tools such as Azure ADO,
Facilitates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospective.
Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimatesengineering development projects and facilitates sprint releases
Drive team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders, protectsthe team from the uncontrolled injection of work.
Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to keep operationsrunning at a high performance.
Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices.
Helps the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
Assist the scrum and development teams in self-organization
Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
Qualifications
The ideal scrum master will be highly quantitative, have great judgment and passion for the business, be inventive, and have a strong track record of delivery.
The Scrum Master will dive deep to understand including the infrastructure, dataset dependencies for feature/application deployments, integration testing requirements before deployment.
The Scrum Master will assist technical program manager to track record of building and delivering software and lead the Program delivery within budget and tight timelines.
11+ years of IT experience with Minimum 6+ years of strong experience in working as Scrum Master.
Scrum master certification (CSM, PSM-1/2 or PMI-ACP certification a must
Exceptional business relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
A good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) models and a track record of shipping software efficiently.
Recognize the difference between building software and releasing software.
A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills
Prior experience on a scrum team for design and implementation of applications
Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
Experience with successful Agile techniques
Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Must have ability to motivate-self and stay focused and help team focused in spite of organizational distractions
Demonstrable experience in working with product owners to identify, deliver and prioritize activities required to build the product backlog.
Demonstrable experience of working with varied scrum teams at a mix of remote, local and offshore locations to deliver against the scrum sprints.
Demonstrable experience of hosting and planning regular stand-ups as well as sprint planning.
Demonstrable experience of running and presenting retrospectives both physically and remotely.
Significant experience in complex solutions for large organizations or private corporations using a diverse engineering and technology team
Preferably some experience in the Consumer Goods Industry
Skills, Abilities, Knowledge
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence and demonstrate confidence in communications with senior level management.
Proven track record of leading, mentoring agile teams.
Total 11+ years of IT experience & Minimum 6+ years of strong experience in working as Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager
Scrum master certification (CSM, PSM1/2) or PMI-ACP certification a must
Strong change manager. Comfortable with change, especially that which arises through company growth. Able to lead a team effectively through times of change.
